Uniform Standards
We will provide each athlete a warm up suit and sports shirt not designating the religious
tradition you will represent. You need to create your own Uniform for the competitions.
Please follow these guidelines when creating Uniforms for your team or your athletes.
- Please print the Religion you are representing in black or white Block Lettering (Helvetica, Ariel) in 200 point size in the front of the Uniform straight across the chest. Underneath you should print your country’s name in Block lettering in 140 point size. (These words should be written in high contrast black or white.) [Please see illustration below] Do not add any other items to the front of the shirt.
- You may design the back of the uniform in any way you like. You may print the individual athlete’s name and/or number on the back of the Uniform.(You may print the team’s name in place of the individual athlete’s name.)
- Uniform colors: Please choose from the following Names of Religions for your uniforms
and use the shirt color indicated for the religion:
Buddhism Yellow 
Islam Green 
Christianity Purple 
Judaism Blue 
Confucianism Gold 
Shinto Grey 
Hinduism Saffron 
Sikh White 
Indigenous Maroon 
Multi-religious Red 
- If your religion is not listed in the chart above, you should create the red multi-religious shirt. You can print muli-religious or your religion on it.
- Sponsors may use the free space on the back or the sleeves of the uniforms for their promotions
- You may print the individual athletes name or number below the countries name on either the front or the back of the Uniform (You may print the team’s name in place of the individual athlete’s name)
